VVDS seemed like a real solution to a real problem. Basically, getting broadband in the middle of nowhere. However, solutions are great on paper. Proving them in practice is another. VVDS is having major financial troubles, at least this district/division (kentucky). You cannot hardly get anyone to answer the phone at their offices. They do not return phone calls. If and when a tech shows up, he will take approx a week to resolve your outage. The service will go down 3 days later. Wash/rinse/repeat. Had about 21 days of uptime over a 6 month period. We are Windstream customers now.
