    I got dsl in april and ever since then I have been living life to the fullest with pacbell I love there service I cant say how much I love for what they have done out here. But when it goes down (which has been 2 times) it sucks because it takes them forever to get it back up and running.I got the 1.5/128 basic service and $50 a month. The install process was great I did a self install I got the 4060 speedstream modem EnterNet300 (PPPoE)....

    Update:::1/7/02

    I have the Alcatel speed touch home now since my old speed stream was faulty so ASI came out and replaced it, service is still great no problems in the past 9 months.

    Update:::3/9/02

    I got another dsl line threw PB but it took them a long time to get everything fixed out about 30 days or so but it works fine now I get a good 1236down and 143up and I coulndt stand the enternet 300 so I made her run RASPPPoE.

    Update:::12/8/02

    Well since the last time I updates this I have upgraded to there 768-1500/256 package with a dynamic IP and the service is even better then it was 9 months ago, I have had one outage since march and it lasted 16 min so it was no biggy...

    Update:::3/5/03

    So long to PacBell DSL, I had to cancel it it was great for the 2 years I had it... Thanks PB for great service...

    Updated:::7/16/03

    Well I upgraded my sisters 1500/256 to 6000/384 for $99 month for 12months and I have to say it dope its hellaaaa fast compaired to my wireless. thumbs yup to toaster2k for helping me out!

    Update:::1/16/04

    Well its been about 6 months now since the install of my sisters 6000/384 line, everything has been working great other than I am probably the only one in PacBell land still with the 384 upload and not the new 512 oh well as soon as our contract is up I am either going to have to switch to comicast or another provider with a lower priced service, 99 bucks a month is kind of expensive since I can get comcast for 40 bucks with 3000/384 now, but other wise the service has been great no downtime exept when they RT was having login problem which was fixed within 2 days.

    Update:::8/29/04

    Well the time has come for me to say goodbye yet again to Pacbell, I have gone ahead and ordered sonic.net's service for 59$ for a 6000/608 line, 150 bucks a month is a little to much for this speed since I know I can get it cheaper, I would hate to go with cable because out here it sucks. So I hate to go since I have yet to have ANY problems with them but its just price...
