    Well another update and I cant say enough. I just changed my plan and reduced my price. i am now on the elite plan. My latest stats

    What else do I have to say..... GO SBC!!!!!

    It has been another year and SBC just keeps on getting better. I took advantage of their 6/608 package. The speeds are awesome. Their e-mail is doing alot better. Overall this is an excellent package and SBC has given me no problems in over a year.

    It has been over a year now and have had little to no problems. I took care of the e-mail problem by getting my own domain, but that is another story. The connection has been rock solid. ~1225/135 consistently, in fact I am upgrading to 1500/256 (we'll see how that goes).

    I haven't had to call tech support at all over the last year. I have asked questions to the techs in the PacBell forum and they have been EXCELLENT. They are best damn tech support around. Kudos to you all !!!!!!!!!

    I have been on for almost a month. The sppeds are rock solid still. The e-mail on the other hand needs alot of work. I am talking delays of almost 12 hours, which in business could mean death. Hopefully they will fix this soon!!!!

    I have been waiting for years for Pacbell to upgrade the east end of Simi. I ordered 1500/128, dynamic ip and I am getting ~1250/135 (cant go wrong).

    Had to call tech support 2x. Once was for getting my account setup. I didn't want to install enternet on my computers (using a linksys befsr41 for a mac and pc setup) the tech was polite and stayed on the phone with me until I was completely online (2 thumbs up). 2nd time when I was trying to set-up a secondary e-mail address. I apparently had the wrong url. Once again the tech was very helpful and knowledgeable and stayed on the line till my e-mail was accepted. I had heard many horror stories about Pacbell, but from my experience I say that is the past. Besides the help in the Pacbell forum here ROCKS!!!!!!!
