For San Francisco, CA service SBC Yahoo DSL 2003-2006: Previously used: 1.5/384 and 3.0/512 packages.
(2003) 1.5/128. Awesome service. Had a few issues. SBC techs here were a great help.
(Update: December 2004) Free upload increase. Now getting 1300/350. Nice pings too!
(Update: February 08, 2005) Latency problems at night. Seeking support from DSLR SBC PacBell forums.
(Update: February 10, 2005) Latency problems fixed thanks to a few techs here at DSLr/BBr. Quick and fast.
(Update: March 12, 2005) Upgraded to Pro (3/512) due to new, lower prices. Rerated, new speeds should show in a few days.
(Update: March 18, 2005) Got Pro speeds. Currently synced at 3 Mbps down/512Kbps up. Getting 2.6/450 (due to normal overhead). Paying 29.99/mo.
(Update: June 09, 2005) Things just keep getting better! =) Rerated at 24.99/mo. Same Pro package, same great speeds, not bad!
(Update: June 30, 2005) Running on a Speedstream 5100b now, nice modem.
(Update: June 11, 2006) Cancelled SBC/ATT DSL; moved to DSLExtreme. Currently on: DSLExtreme's 1.5/384 package @ 12.95/mo. The new ATT would not downgrade/rerate me, so I had to leave. What a great way to lose existing customers. Goodbye ATT, for now.
(Update: May 2007) DSLExtreme.. bad service. Now I'm back with the new at&t. See new review in my profile.
