Have had no downtime so far, speed is very close to advertised. (I get about 1200/260 when 1500/384 is advertised)
Update: Upgraded to the 3.0 megabit plan about a year ago, this year, upgraded to the 6.0 elite plan.
Only had a few hours of downtime in all this time - but it was at night, and everything was resolved by morning.
Update 05/08/2008: Still pleased with the service from AT&T (Formerly SBC). Just waiting on their U-Verse service to be available in my neighborhood so that I can upgrade to their newer service and completely dump Comcast. Still definitely the best speed for the price in my area as well.
