I had ADSL service from PacBell two years ago. But then I moved, and they could no longer provide me with ADSL (I now have IDSL through Megapath.) But here is the clincher: even though PacBell can not provide me with service, they continue to bill me -- two years later! Every month I call up, they give me a credit, and charge me again the next month! Approach with caution.
When I did have DSL service from PacBell, it was average, although technical support was non-existent.
