    My Other Reviews·AT&T CallVantage
AT&T CallVantage was shutting down and I saw how active Timothy is from VOIPo here on the forums and over on their own forums. I like to see that the president of the company is interested in hearing what the customers want and is there to address any issues that may come up.

The order process was painless, however, AT&T did not seem eager to release my number for the port to VOIPo. I blame that on AT&T though.

I was originally supplied with a Grandstream TA, however, they recalled those and shipped Linksys PAP2T's which seem to work well.

I am very satisfied, but I just hope they keep their promotional pricing of $135/year when renewal time comes. They also offer a month to month option.

    Is the echoing solved?

"Callers can occasionally hear themselves (echo) when they call my VOIPo number."

Did VOIPo's tech support solve this problem for you, or are you still experiencing the echos. I am seriously considering VOIPo. I'm experimenting with voip.ms right now. When I make the permanent switch away from Verizon, I am considering VOIPo, Phone Power or voip.ms.

    Re: Is the echoing solved?

It's odd... The echoing mostly occurs only from certain cell phones or certain landline/wireless providers. AT&T POTS calls to my VOIPo are fine. My Sprint and AT&T cell phones are fine, but when my sister and mother's Sprint phones call my VOIPo line, they hear the echo.

I have not asked VOIPo to troubleshoot this yet, but I need to. I will open a ticket this weekend.
