I came across Future Nine while shopping around for an ITSP and deciding what to do with my Google Voice phone numbers. As you may know, Google posted a blog in 2013 regarding Google Voice that was summarily interpreted as an imminent shutdown of the free phone service as many have used it for some time, including me.

I lurked the forum for a while before deciding to try them out. One forum topic after another one, this company seemed to make customers happy, and for the price and offerings I had to check them out.

My test drive with them so far spans two months, and I am very pleased. Their service works very well with Asterisk, which was necessary for me as my phones run off this PBX.

You may also take into consideration the fact that this company has a subject matter expert in all things VoIP and their service, and this person routinely lurks the VoIP forums right here. This person personally took the time to take me from A to Z and answered all my questions quickly and very friendly. My vote for Future Nine's MVP goes to nitzan. You will find very helpful and honest advice from this individual.

The service costs $5 per month, and I get 2000 incoming and 2000 outgoing minutes. This was advertised as promotional pricing at the time.

Call quality is excellent. You can expect standard features like Caller ID, waiting, etc to work as well.
