This is a very good service which replaces your landline or ads a secondary line to your home or business. I had this for about 6 months in my transition from Cablevision to Fios. The best part of ooma is you pay for it once! No monthly bill! The call quality and reliability was exceptional. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want monthly bills and who was a quality VOIP service.

In response to the comment. There are some small fees with the service. Still doesn't bother me!

Perhaps not...

The hassle comes form the losing provider. I wanted to transfer my ooma number to google voice so I would get free multi ring (instead of using primere) but they only transfer it to cell phones. Ooma to Virgin Mobile only took 3 days.

Has NEVER been "FREE"......

There is about a $4.72 monthly charge which is "taxes and fees". So, the service has NEVER been "free".

You don't understand and are sort of messing up reviews.

Older Ooma users are grandfathered and pay absolutely no monthly charge. $0.00, nada, zip, nil, zot, nothing, not a penny per month.

YOUR experience is as a newer customer. It is DIFFERENT from other customers.

Why do you continue to bash Ooma?? Telling other people what we pay?? Seriously?? It didn't occur to you after reading many reviews by people who pay nothing, that maybe we are really paying nothing?

Not true. I do not pay "taxes and fees." This is the result of when I initially signed up. I have the old hub works great. I do pay an annual fee for premier service but I can turn that off anytime I want.
