Before going onto the myDestiny cable internet plan, I was with a wisp called SmartBro (one of the lousiest excuses for an ISP, if you ask me) on a plan at the same price.
Now, Destiny cable was rather well known a few years ago for mediocre performance and uptime, which kept me away. I should have applied for their service sooner. They have only one plan, which is 1.5/512 and on average, I get about 1-1.2/384. All for 999 pesos per month (roughly $23, depending on the current exchange rate.)
I have yet to experience any sort of outage, and the only time I got cut off was when I forgot to pay the bill. One call to customer service hotline was all it took to reactivate the service. The only downside of this was it took approximately 15 minutes before i spoke with a live body. This was my second call.
Ordering is simple (my first call), and the install can happen the next day. Installation cost is about double the MSF, but is applied to the last 2 months of the contract. So in essence, the last two months are free. Billing is always done in advance. Installation fee is inclusive of a Motorola SB5101 cable modem.
All in all, its a solid connection. No complaints otherwise. Hopefully, it will stay this way.
