    My Other Reviews·Cogeco Cable
    Update - 02/09/2009
Figured I'd add this into my review. Lately I've been experiencing some abnormalities with my service. For example I've had an echo on the other end of my phone calls a couple times last week. Not a big problem but still noteworthy to me. My second thing is when someone phones long distance to me the call sometimes gets rejected on their end before even ringing. This here has happened twice in the last week.

Still they're not huge problems and I've yet to contact support about them. Simply because I don't want to waste their time in case this is just a one off thing. Now if any of this happens again I'll certainly be giving them a call. None of this changes my rating of voip.ms, I just figured I'd make note of this in my review for future reflection.

    Update - 22/08/2009
Yesterday my phone # was officially ported 5 days after I placed the request. Absolutely no problems so far. Phone calls are clear, no echo, no static or weird noises when calling people.

Cancelling the DID I had used to test the service was easy and quick. No hassle involved there.

I have only one gripe. Even after a month of tinkering I find their customer portal to still be rather daunting. There's a lot of undocumented features in there. I know the service is targeted towards people who know this stuff but a little documentation couldn't hurt.

Overall the service is good and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good voip provider.

So I've only had service from voip.ms for a couple of days now. It's been great so far. The pay as you go method they use is perfect for me since I only use my phone for a few hours a month at most.

Setup was a breeze. No problems. I had all my computers hooked up and receiving incoming calls in no time. Gotta love ring groups and sub accounts for this. I don't currently use an ATA though it's on my list of things to buy when money allows.

I'll fill everyone in on my monthly cost once my first 30 days are past. Cheers.
