I used the service one year with call forwarding (Canadian to French DID) because I did not have a working ATA. DIDs are cheap and per-minute (with six-second increments) rates are low.

I am now using my line for testing with an iNum DID (completely free). Those numbers can be reached from regular phones with local access numbers. Then I am using all those cool features: IVRs, time conditions and for sure DISA (calling card service). So wherever there is a local access number, I can call the iNum service, dial my number (15 digits...) and then choose the calling card service when my IVR plays and only pay the outgoing call.

Unlimited (for personal usage) incoming plans are available, but not outgoing. Hoping that any possible future plans will have competitive pricings...

UPDATE: service still reliable

not competitive pricing?!

voip.ms does have competitive pricing. I notice you are from Canada. Calls to most of Canada are $0.0052/min (1/2 cent per minute). Calls to most of the U.S. are $0.0105/min.

Just because they do not have an 'unlimited' outgoing plan, does not mean they are not competitive!

It seems that most people prefer an 'unlimited' plan to a variable cost plan even when the variable cost plan is cheaper!
