So I have been with Bell Home phone for about 12 years now, and paying $31+ a month for BASIC HOME PHONE with no features (not even call ID) was getting old. So I decided to switch to Voip.ms. Switching my TekSavvy Account to Cable, bought an OBI100 adapter and a brand new set of 4 homephones, and now we are rocking voip.ms! I also have configured GV with the OBI to get free outgoing calls to US and Canada. We pay 0.99 base fee + incoming/outgoing at a cheap rate. So far based on current usage looks like this months bill will be $2... haha. Overall, good service so far. Loving all the call features, and I hope it stays this way! ---------------------------- UPDATE: February 1st, 2014 The service is still holding up really well. There is still no official android application (unfortunately...) to monitor your usage on the go. The OBi adapter is doing a great job (no issues with it) and our bill is still consistently at ~$2/month despite making international calls overseas occasionally. We haven't really had any issues with downtime at all since we signed up which is a great plus side for this provider. I have already told family and friends to switch over to voip.ms and will continue to do so as long as the service remains excellent! member for 16.7 years, 1016 visits, last login: 9.3 years ago updated 10.1 years ago
