I switched from Videotron to Radioactif. yes videotron is way faster but the 30gig cap is a problem For half the price, I get a very good connection with no bandwith limits. The connection is very stable with an average of 450k download speed.
For $30 a month, what more can you ask!!!

 | | Radioactif = Very very Bad! So, here's my experience with radioactive.
First of all, I would like to mention the fact that I was initially very willing to try anything that could challenge Bell and Videotron and was ready to go with an average service in the hope that it'll improve eventually. Well, I was very mistaken.
1-Calling customer service is a nightmare. I have tried to contact them maybe 5 or 6 times, and had to wait between 15 to 20 min each time (which I was ok with until the following occurred).
2-Really really rude people over the phone. The girl didn't know was she was talking about, was very pushy and got me into a contract before I even said anything.
3-The technician was supposed to show up after 5 to 7 business days but didn't. After I called (and waited another 20 min over the phone), some other rude customer service person just told me that the guys didn't show up because my home didn't support super high speed (which is not what I wanted in the first place).
4-When I said that I somebody could have let me know, the guy just hang up the phone!
I usually never take these things personally, I know customer service can be stressful at times, but I was really really disappointed with my experience. Was expecting (if not a reasonable alternative to Bell) at least some good will.
My advice, stay away from Radioactive. | |
