    Purchased at Towson Town Center Kiosk (Food Court) Oct 7th. I brought home and activated and took about 30 minutes with home modem. Connected and found service. Running speeds of 2mb/1mb as I show no coverage on locator map on XOHM.com. I know it will get even better soon. Will be cancelling Comcast as I pay more for less... I have my modem by patio door on floor... Aircard is next to purchase..

    Picked up the Nokia N810 Tablet this past week and setup my Belkin router for my two laptops.. Impressed with speeds on my tablet in home. Running it off the wireless as I haven't hooked it up yet on XOHM.. Speeds are now consistent all the time.. Seems to perform better with router..

    Below is a picture of the antenna I have been using from www.WPSantennas.com. Seems to be helping with speed performance. I have been using them for about 2 weeks now.

    Glad you are getting good results with XOHM. How many bars of signal strength are you getting? I returned the modem after nearly a month because there was not enough signal strength to activate. I might get an external antenna to expedite the situation (looking to dump Comcast too). I live on East Lake Ave 2 blocks east of York Road. Map has not changed since Oct 10th in this area. The closest signal (by map) Northern Parkway near Lochraven Blvd.
    I still might buy the device before the 12/31/08 pick 2 promotion is over.

    I get two bars. I am waiting for some antennas from someones that should arrive hopefully soon. I can let you know how it goes. The Pick 2 ends now 01/31/09. I am at Towson Town Center (3rd Flr) if you want to stop by.. My speeds are avging around 3 down and 1.2 up... I have the optimizer downloaded to let me know best place for signal. You just got to put it in a window until coverage improves or you get an outside antenna. wpsantennas.com

    I bought the modem again this evening (second time now LOL). I placed it in upstairs windows in the front and in the back of the house. The best I get is a consistent one bar and an occasional second bar. When I got the modem the first time back in October one of the Xohm in house tech people said that Xohm will be releasing its own antenna in December. I hope I can keep it this time. Funny the 700 block of East lake avenue shows on the map as not having service (confirmed by me I guess) but just 4 short blocks away to the east there is supposed to be signal. Hopefully I can hang in there long enough for them to close the holes in northern Baltimore. I think south of Coldspring lane the coverage is solid all the way to the harbor. Where on the 3rd level are you? Thanks

    The XOHM kiosk is near the Food Court on the 3rd Flr near the Nordstrom Wing. It's funny how I live probably farther away then anyone else and have some good speeds.. huh..

    well over here near Wilkins and Monroe facing carol park speed drops off alot had it in the back room of 2nd floor now in front room 2nd floor out the window. always get 3 bars just can't seem to hold a steady bandwidth using real time net meter avg down 497.1 avg up 369.9 . spikes over 5mps just not for that long. many times get the can not connected to sever,
    have not purchased the extra antenna yet.
    i have had it 3 weeks may have regretted my purchase if it were not only 25 dollars a month

    I am dropping XOHM tonight....there was promise but if you're in the wrong area such as too far north of downtown you might be in trouble unless you happen to live in one of their widely spread splotches of coverage. It seem my 2 of 3 signal does not give me as fast a coverage as it used to. The 16dbi antenna from WPS antennas was useless to me (even mounted on my roof). I unplugged the antenna and just put the modem near a window upstairs (otherwise I get only one light or 3 signal level instead of 2).
