    SudaTel is the only ISP in Sudan to provide broadband DSL over copper wire, other ISP's use either 3 or 3.5G framework.

    I am currently subscribed to their Platinum Package (1024 downstream\256 upstream, Shared, UBR) at a cost of approximately $150\month.

    Order and install process was pretty straightforward taking around 1 week from order to actual installation.

    Service is generally acceptable (around 90% availability) but SudaTel tecnical support staff need to be properly oriented in dealing and processing customer complaints and troubleshooting said compliants.

    Personally, the worst feature I would say has to be connection latency especially playing online games (e.g BF2) where I typically get a ping of 120ms (at best).
