After 10 years of DSL from Sprint / Embarq / Centurylink ( we were the 3rd household in our DSLAM to get service ! ), I thought it was about time to look at other options. I was going to do Earthlink cable, but when we ordered - for some reason it was gone - nevermind - Time Warner cable had the $30 / 12 month promo for 10 M down / 1M up . We also moved over to VoIP - all this was done as a cost savings measure. No complaints on service so far, and Between Cable / VoIP vs POTS /DSL - we're saving over $25/month - this will go down when our promo ends, but I still expect it to be cheaper. Installation was painless. Motorola SB5101 cable modem supplied - no complaints.
