Installer had to run a new line front the pole in the ally to my house. That went fine. Inside I have the modem hooked up to a router that serves my ATT Microcell, PS3, Apple TV.
Have the Scientific Atlantic modem, seems to work well, boots up fast.
I forget how long this price goes for, have the standard package, do not really need much more speed than that. Apple TV/Netflix work great and get a great picture.
Lately I've been getting connection drop outs at various times during the day.
Damn Time Warner Customer Service Their Customer Service is so poor! Each month bill has some issue that needs adjustment! Fixing that needs at least 2 hours in line on the phone to talk to someone! Then that someone is telling that they do understand what you say but he/she is not allowed to do that adjustment so they should reconnect you to another person! It means another half an hour waiting on the line!!!
Finally you may fix your problem after 5-6 times of calling in 2-3 days!!!
If you really want to spend that much time waiting to talk with a customer service representative, go for that. Otherwise I really suggest not to get any service from Time Warner Cable! There are always other choices
