Time Warner has improved from their first days in the region. Way Way back, Media One was the cable company... then ATT Broadband took that over........ Then Comcast took that over. No complaints until TimeWarner took it over. The speeds were lowered, but the price wasn't.
At that time, I cancelled and gave them some brash words.
Fast forward about 6 years, the speeds have gone way up, and the price isn't insane. Current speeds 30/5 Guaranteed 80% max even during peak times. It does pretty well. Sometimes it has some 10-15 second dead times, but overall, it works pretty well.
Customer service is better than it used to be. I'm satisfied with tech support, as they actually take me seriously and don't jerk me around when there is an issue.
Do I Love it.... no. Is it the best option for getting over the 10meg mark... Yes.
