Basically, the product(20/1 cable connection) works great. I always get the full speed, with low latency. No downtime in the 30+ days i've had it.
Now...as far as the company offering the service: they really act as though they don't need customers. They are VERY rude, send you on endless transfer chases when you call for support, and don't even understand their own producst.
The cable television is terrible. The channels have very low volume, so making them louder using the tv volume created an extremely annoying buzzing sound. The channel lineup seems totally random. The quality of the standard definition rivals only that of a crappy youtube stream.
Bottom line: get the internet, ditch the cabletv.

| Is this outfit now known as Wavevision? Whenever I google search for TVMax, Wavevision shows up at the top of the search result - »www.wavevision.com . I don't suspect you're referring to the channel TVMax in Panama - 
They provide cable TV and cable Internet to the apartment complex I'm moving into and I have only read reviews about them on citysearch.com and yelp.com as TVMax - mostly negative. Not sure if they re-organized the company or only slapped a new coat of paint on it, metaphorically speaking. They seem to be very persuasive in getting apartment complexes in the Houston area to sign exclusive agreements with them. | |

I had cable TV with OpTel in 1997 and had many problems with their billing department. I don't know if things have changed after several rounds of renaming he company. Maybe some folks with some more recent memory of this company can add to the reviews on this forum.
