I've helped 5-6 friends and neighbors install the basic DSL package. Smooth and without problems. Throughputs are excellent on the 1500 dl connection. During this last 13 months or so, I can only think of 3-4 times that the DSL was off-line, and then only for a short-time and never more than a few hours. For $26.95 for a dynamic line with PPPoe, not a bad deal at all. Make sure that at or near the end of your contract, contact the billing department and extend the contract. Otherwise, the annual rate goes to a monthly rate, which considerably more expensive.
