My Other Reviews

·RoadRunner Cable
I had TWC Road Runner but found that (a) reliability wasn't great, (b) they couldn't reliably fix it when it broke, and the straw that broke the camel's back (c) they had high dropped packet rates which screwed up my VoIP voice quality.

I switched to AT&T DSL (SBC), got Elite service for $35/month with a $5 discount because I responded to a promotion. Very reliable 6 megabits down/768k up nominal. I regularly get speed tests close to 500 kbytes/sec download, and see higher than that when downloading data. It has only broken twice in 14 months, and both times it was fixed very quickly (within minutes rather than hours). The first time it was a provisioning error which was fixed when I was on the phone. The second time they already knew about it (they know how to manage a network!) and the fix was underway.

The only bad point is trying to call AT&T and get service is a pain in the behind. But once you break through to the service techs I found it a good experience.
