I once sold Clear from our computer shop. It's quite situational. Some clients get 10/1...... some 5/1........some have a heck of a time staying connected. Such is the way of wireless.

First off, for Home/Biz users... Put the modem IN THE WINDOW.... try a few spots. be prepared to put the modem somewhere other than your computers are and run some Cat5.

If you can get 15db or a better CINR score, You should be in OK shape. Works good for Internet... Mediocre for VOIP unless you're really really in a Premium spot.

Clear has the same prices for home and business. Most of the happiest clients are business users who are getting 10M internet for 45$... since it usually costs double to get that speed from a line carrier in many regions.

Try it out for 15 days... if it works great, be happy and enjoy. If it's marginal, it's not a good fit.

Clear is good for many locations... and not good for many. So you'll have to try and find out if it's for you.
