  • "Not great BUT NOT terrible customer service. Slow downs at peak hours."

Had to wait 30 days to cancel my current ISP (not Teksavvy's fault). Activation went smoothly. Decided to upgrade from lite to unlimited. Ordered this on Friday and was active Monday.

Capable call center billing/technical support...they just don't seem happy. In contrast the staff on this site have always been very helpful and pleasant.

****UPDATE*****

Seems to be major slow downs during the evening

See »St.Laurent POI Slow Download

15/1 During the day is not an issue. Getting 3 to 5 DOWN and 1 UP during peak.

***cancelled this "service"***NOT HAPPY

I don't know that they really care. I called and asked to cancel and there was NO attempt to save, told her it's slow, no offer to xfer to tech support....

Thank you but I've cancelled already and the solution "Might" be spending another 99 dollars on a D3 modem. I just wish I had been advised of this before purchasing a D2. In fact, looking at your page now you don't even recommend a specific modem. If D3 is known to resolve node congestion, and your network obviously suffers from this issue (reading the forums), why would you not at least recommend it on your site with an explanation as to why it's a far superior choice.
