I've been a TekSavvy Cable customer for over 6 months now and I've been quite happy with the service I have received. I especially liked the free upgrade from 15Mb/s to 24Mb/s.
Rogers did drag their feet on my initial install, delaying it for no apparent reason. But once up and running I haven't needed anything from TekSavvy's support.
The POI upgrades could be better managed. The first stop sell was not implemented quickly enough and I experienced peak hour speeds of about 5Mb/s. That was however still faster than my old DSL service and perfectly usable for browsing. TekSavvy also implemented the second stop sell before slowdowns started occurring, so their management of this issue appears to have improved enough to get a 4/4.
If you need the most reliable service go with DSL, but I don't feel that cable is bad enough to warrant a 3/4. I have not had any downtime and business hour speeds have always been perfect. Ultimately if you'll be losing money from not having internet you should have a backup connection.
I have not experienced any local node congestion, but I advise everyone to be aware of that issue when ordering.
