I chose TekSavvy due to the reputation they once had on DSL Reports. It seemed like a good choice still due to their pricing and bandwidth caps. Getting an installation completed was fairly difficult. When I ran into an issue TekSavvy were not willing to take ownership or help in any way outside of "wait another 5 days". Agents continued to place the blame on Rogers, as well as me. Rogers called and rebooked and then did a no-show. TekSavvy were unwilling to escalate for a better appointment. To quote an agent "anything you discussed is between you and Rogers". Sure this is true, however if you tell your customers that Rogers are going to be doing the install then why would a customer NOT take what Rogers says on behalf of TekSavvy as the truth. In total it took just over 18 days to finally get my service installed. The wait times to speak with a rep are very high right now. Planning to get the install completed is nearly impossible, after being told to wait "48 hours" for an appointment response, I then waited another "24 hours due to a backlog from Canada day", wait another "24 hours" and then just "wait". Finally found out the technician would be there the night before the install was originally scheduled. Since the installation I have not had any complaints. The speeds are excellent, it's pricing is good, the bandwidth caps are much higher than the incumbents. The e-services team on dslreports seems to be the best way to avoid having to call and speak with a rep. member for 22.9 years, 1332 visits, last login: 8.3 years ago updated 10.7 years ago
