Localphone is a good provider in the value-end of the market.

Based in London UK, they serve many countries (including USA and Canada) and are related to the wholesale Voxbeam company.

Both inbound (DID) and outbound rates are very good.

There is no 911 available and some of the advanced features found on competitors are not available.

I have noticed that outbound calls (made using an IP phone) sometimes are slow to connect, giving a chirpy tone for about 15 seconds before the standard ringback tone begins. (NOTE: As of August 2016 this is no longer happening).

Many people use them for primary service, in my own case they are more of a backup provider (a similar niche to Call With Us).

I would contact customer service...

.......in reference to the delayed connections. My calls connect immediately, the longest delay I ever had was less than 2 seconds.
There is some difference in the inbound and outbound call quality. While it strongly depends on destination, it is obvious on some outbound calls that standard routing is being used. With inbound calls(DID), my experience has been excellent and in the case of Western European DIDs top PSTN quality.
