Good "Price, set-up, device, unlimited long distance"
- Location: Orangeville,ON
- Cost: $3 per month (48 month contract)
- Install: about 1 days
Bad "Call quality issues, 1-800 numbers, no CDN number portability"
Overall "Can't beat the price"
Ease of Installation:
Value for money:
In a home with multiple cellular phones, we discovered that we were paying for a landline for the dentist to remind us of upcoming appointments and two relatives that call.
Purchased NetTalk Duo via Amazon.ca and signed up for a year. Their list of Canadian area codes wasn't complete at that time (don't know about now) so we took a Toronto number to reduce long-distance charges incurred by our relatives. If number portability is important, there is a Canadian company with a similiar service now that is offering that for a fee.
The call quality issues have increased rather than improved over time. For the price cheaper than a landline for 4 months I just signed up for another 4 years with NetTalk. A great solution for us.
