I was a previous 3Web customer who was transferred over to Distributel.

Since I became their customer, the internet service they provided was fairly reliable. However, this has not been the case for the past few months. Download and upload speeds have dropped drastically. I am on their INTERNET CABLE 30 plan and the current speed of my internet have been around 5 mbps (download) and .23 mbps (upload) where it should have been 30 mbps (download) and 5 mbps (upload) according to my plan. Streaming video content and uploading small files takes extremely long. I also experienced 2 to 3 outages with in a period of 2 months at one point.

Unfortunately my negative remarks does not end with the quality of their service. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service. There was one time when I had to contact their tech support to fix my internet connection since it was down and the representative who assisted me spoke very rudely. He was in a hurry and was not very professional. My modem needed to be reconfigured in order to address the issue. And I did not know how to do that so I asked him to help me. He then responded by instructed me to google it in a sarcastic and rude tone. Because according to him, my question was outside the scope of their responsibility. This really upset me.

It is also important to note that their call wait times were atleast 20 to 30 minutes in my experience.

Overall, I would not recommend their service to anyone having mentioned all of the factors above.
