I was looking for a simple VOIP solution that I could recommend to friends and AcroVoice was suggested by a post at DSLReports. I did not want a VOIP solution that I would have to support, in any way.
I had my own Obi 110 setup with Anveo and it was working perfectly. I decided to test AcroVoice, after making a backup of my Obi/Anveo settings.
I signed up at AcroVoice and sent them the info they required about my Obi 110.
AcroVoice 'took over' my Obi and set it up in minutes! One minute, I was on Anveo - the next, I was on AcroVoice!
Yes,using AcroVoice is more expensive than 'rolling your own' but some people are just not interested in, or do not have the time, to embark on the VOIP 'learning curve' - for them, AcroVoice will provide a simple, worry-free way to cut their telephone expense.
Edit (Aug 26/12):
Well, I have been using AcroVoice for a month and there have been absolutely zero problems with reliability or voice quality.
I am now going to recommend it to 4 of my friends.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!
Reliable, perfect voice quality and zero problems. Great customer service.
A great choice for people who are intimidated by VoIP but want to try it.
Edit: (Jan 6/12):
Still excellent!!!
