Recently i purchased a FreedomPop MIFI hotspot and I have to say, I'm quite impressed with the service. The company offers lots of Data plans to meet your needs for me the free for 500MB of data each month and the 19.99 2GB work for me. The free plan works for months when i'm not traveling for work and the 19.99 works well for those other months. I'm not sure what speeds i should expect but i'm getting really good upload and download speeds. I'm seeing around 9MB up and 1MB down which ranges depending on the area i'm. FreedomPop's high speed wireless internet service runs across three networks, Sprint's LTE network, Sprint's 3G CDMA network and Clearwire's 4G WiMax network. FYI to use the 3G network it cost extra.

Freedompop Photon 4G and Home Hub Burst

I had the Freedompop Photon 4G for almost 2 years now and I'm quite happy with the speed so far. I haven't had any issues. I also bought the Home Hub Burst and that's working great as well. I can't say the same for the Freedompop cell phone though. I had it for nearly a month and returned the phone. The cell phone battery dies out completely in 5-6 hours if not on wifi.

Also people are saying that they are getting charge for overage usage and so forth but I haven't got any overage charges or any hidden fees charged on me. I'm not sure if people are aware that there is a overage usage box in the Billing, Billing Settings. Click Edit and uncheck the box. Make sure the Enable says "No".
