Have been with Sympatico for over 7 years @ 4 different locations... always have been satisfied, as long as your line works fine. I've personally encountered 2 lost of signal at 2 of the 4 places where a tech was needed to be dispatched.
Never lasted more then 48hrs.
I've always tried to find a place suitable for a stable DSL connection. I'm very lucky where I currently live as I am close to the CO.
Using a 2Wire & Linksys router plugged into modem. 2Wire seems very stable, have not lost Sync since I've arrived at this place, going on 8 months now. I'm thinking about trying a Speedtouch 516 to see the performance difference.
Have rarely called in other then for my sync issues. My modem exchange have always gone smoothly.
Billing issues I not have, should count myself lucky for that.
Don't use p2p too often but when I do it is frustrating to be slowed down to 30k/sec. Although my work around has been to get myself a dedicated server.
