I ordered 7Mbit service last month, and had problems right from the beginning. Two of the biggest and most important problems were that my connection was inconsistent, and only at 5Mbit. After trying to get results from their forum, I called 310-SURF. The non-canadian was happy to read from his book all the speeches he's supposed to use, but provided no actual help. I finally had to call the Executive Office of Customer Relations and threaten to cancel my contract before I got results, but I got results FAST after that. Within two hours I had a techie at my door, who quickly diagnosed and repaired my wiring, and then went to the CO and fixed my speed. The moral here is: don't bother calling 310-surf, don't bother trying their forums. Call the Exec Office, and tell them to fix it or lose your business. That's the only thing they care about, the money you send 'em.
Now, if I could just get them to stop interfering with my data packets, so I can play my games during peak hours, I'd be almost satisfied...Almost...
