    Recently switched from Rogers to Bell Canada. I was with rogers on their 10MB service. Rogers for the most part consistently provided me with the full 10MB occasionally going to 11MB. I was promised by Bell that I would get a similar experience. I went on their 10MB service. With bell I was regularly getting 6-7MB. Occasionally I would get 8MB. Bell sent two techs who confirmed that my line was able to get 22MB's and that my line was clean. I tried various sites and news groups and even different computers. All I was getting was 6-7MB. After arguing with tech support they basically said they only go UPTO 10MB. So anything between 7-10MB meets their term of agreements. Don't get me wrong but 6-7MB's is good service.... just not what they advertise. So anybody wanting to go bell's higher services just make sure u subtract 2-3MB's from the max and that's what u will be getting. So if u go with their 16MB service expect 13MB. Atleast for me I found robbers.... ooops.... I mean rogers to be a better ISP for speed enthusiasts.

    I have now officially been with bell for over 2 weeks and the service is getting worse. I am now down to about 2Mb service. I have spent over 20hours with tech support and over 5 technician visits. With each call it appears things get worse. I am switching back to rogers!

    do yourself a favour

    Bell will mail you and call you and tell you how much you are missed and valued.

    They will also tell you how they have have changed.

    Do yourself a favor. Put yourself on the do not call list.

    You don`t need more of Bells bullshit, lies, and money grabbing scams to steal your money.

    I had the same experience. Rogers was giving me a higher speed than advertised, now Bell is providing lower than I signed up for. I am going to switch.
