    I live in the middle of Kingston. They replaced stuff behind the house and then had to run a new whole line about 2 miles for just the net. Speed is capped at 1.5 max due to distance from repeater station. must pay for 20G band width but get it at 1.5 mbps not 5 mbps as it should be. They are supposed to be improving it.
    Horrendous arguments till real tech (good guy) took old 1940's stuff off pole and ran a new line etc.

    With package with phone and television, still cheaper than cable, (Rogers cogeco) which also is not perfect.
    Starting to look into something cheaper but TV is big cost not DSL which is slow but rock solid, very important when making money through Internet live connections.

    So DSL is deadly slow but rock solid & I'd rather have that when it comes to financial matters online than any risk on money matters sometimes.
