First off the one thing I hate about HN is there inability to communicate with their customers, if there having problems they wont really tell you they will say its on your end. The constant slow downs are very annoying as they have over sold there service, which still stands true as of today. The uploads are a joke, I barely get 4Kbps during non-peak times! Lately during peak times, however, has been unusable, my dial-up speeds are faster! The phone tech support for Hughesnet is a joke, you can barely tell whether they are asking you to a question or to do something! Yesterday, I chatted with tech support and asked why they are overcrowding their satellites and she kicked me from chat. What kind of customer service is that? I am very unhappy with HN.

| Try wireless data? Don't know if you can hit any cell towers in the area.
I can barely hit a Verizon tower with an external antenna and amplifier, but it's better than the satellite companies.

Thanks for the reply, I actually moved to sprint shortly after posting the original review, and am now with Time Warner Cable. This is good information for people reading this however.
