Having had cable for several years I have seen all kinds of issues,latency ,packet loss,connectivity,and so on.So far this DSL connection has worked flawlessly and although the speed768/128 is far less than the cable 3000/256, It performs just as well ,with the exception of large downloads.They gave me the first month free,no contract and 2 months at $29.95 after that.Still not bad deal,not quite as good as the connection quality has diminished somewhat.Still better than cable although prices keep creeping upward and customer service has gone down.July 2009,still with Verizon,still pretty reliable and not too costly.
