I am temporarily assigned to Bloomington, Il with my work. Prior to moving, I received information that Verizon was available and to contact my housing assistant if I wanted to have it installed and ready when I was to arrive. Due to my support of Distributed Computing and the desire to continue, I decided to go ahead and have the Verizon setup. Upon arriving, I found that an installation package including hardware and an installation setup CD had been provided. A few short steps later I was up and running. I have received speeds averaging 1265/132 over the past 3 months. I am somewhat dissappointed at the speed vs cost, but I am impressed with the ease of installation and the realiability since I have been using Verizon. Verizon Rocks!
3/15/09 As stated, I was temporarily assigned a few years ago and was fortunate to have Verizon available as my ISP. The uptime, reliability, customer friendly setup and support was impressive, However, the speed vs cost was a little disappointing.
