    Update 2-20-08 Speeds are ok

    Update 2-23-07 Speeds are pretty slow sometimes but better than dialup.

    Update 5-27-06: Everything is great. Got a similar business deal a few blocks away and that went perfect also.

    Kit arrives well ahead of schedule. Able to use the connection 3 days before the turn on date. CD is pretty good with XP but has problems with WinMe. This is a great deal for any parents that are still on dialup. Doesn't compare to 8Mb cable internet but blows dialup out of the water.
    Even after using the install CD still had to dig deep into Windows to find the Verizon network icon and manually make a short cut to the desktop for manual logon each time the PC is re-booted. There is a way to do this with the Westell 6100 Router/modem but I couldn't log-on even after following instructions from the Verizon DSL group at this site.
