I ordered 3000/768, it cost 29.95 per month. It was one phone call; the equipment (a westell 6100) came 3 days later. The service was installed about a week later.
The service is pppoe and it works very well, speeds run 27—31 and I find that they stay there. I used this with a DI-LB604, I also have an Adelphia service, that is why the dual wan router.
The only problem that I have had so far is sending email, if the connection went out on Adelphia then all was well but if it was an Adelphia email and it went out on Verizon line
Then if would say “can not rely mail, to fix this I bound the Adelphia account to do all the mail. I have had it around 6 month and the connection has not gone down at all.
I am very happy with the service. I have not needed tech help or service so I could not rate them on that.

I am happy IT is always on, the speed is always the same 2.7, and with fastpath it work very very well( at least for me).

Well Verizon in Maine was sold in feb.of 2008 to fairpoint, I have not found a lot of good about Fairpoint, in fact it should be called foolpoint. As of April , 2008 I went to G.W.I.
