    Started with 768kbps in 2002. Upgraded to 1.5 and then 3.0 with free 327w wireless router when it became available by signing a 1 year contract. I requested the uprgrades but they probabnly would have gotten around to them eventually. I have been lucky that my distance is close and I haven`t had any issues. I am thinking of downgrading to 768 for savings but only for a few months because FIOS should be ready soon, and hopefully TV not too far off.
