I ordered DSL a year ago, for $14.95 a month, and aside from a few snags it has been smooth sailing ever since. Install process was a little difficult because I only have a laptop and set up wireless so I had to call tech support because at the time I didn't know much about setting up a network. It would have been helpful if Verizon would have placed "how to" info in the welcome kit on setting up a wireless network. The first tech I got didn't know anything so after 20 minutes on the phone with him I hung up and called back, the next tech walked me right through it. Lately, for some reason I have been connecting to a Linksys router somewhere from my neighborhood and couldn't stay connected to my own which really made my speed slow. I put off calling tech support for over a month and finally couldn't take it any more and called tech support. As soon as the girl came on she was extremely helpful. She asked if she could take over my computer and away she went. She not only fixed my problem she also secured my network for me. It was the best call I have ever made to any company. The only downside to my experience with DSL is that I was told my price would remain $14.95 a month as long as I renewed my contract before it was up but Verizon refused to allow me to do that saying the policy changed and the price would go to $17.99 a month. I wasn't happy but for the price and the reliability even $17.99 is worth it. I would recommend Verizon DSL to anyone, it is excellent.
Update---
I still have Verizon DSL and it still great service.
