    My Other Reviews·Verizon FIOS
First off, kudos to the tech who finally got my LAN on the internet. It only took 3 techs before I found one who could handle it, though. With an older account in this same area, the multiple e-mail addresses service needs some setup help. I got 2 of the 5? to take, but all others beyond that have failed. Not important enough to bother with support for it, so I guess it's not a big deal. The speed seems a little low for the price, but everybody says -that-, right? The install coordination is great online, but, hey, I wasn't online so that didn't do me a whole lot of good. The snail mail notification had me "ready" 5 days later than the online info indicated. (Found this out after getting it all working.) Anyone that knows of reliable access in North Port, FL for around $20/mo for 768/128 or $25/mo for 1500/256 -- feel free to let me know about it. I'm game for trying cheaper/faster any day!

You should check into getting Verizon FiOS. The 15/2 package is a steal at 44.95. If you have competition, the speed maybe a lot more for the price, something like 20/2 or 30/5, I'm not exactly sure.

Oh, to be so lucky...maybe soonish. FIOS is only as far south as north Sarasota, which is almost 20 miles north of me.

At least you have the option, you lucky SOB! I'm in an area that has no Verizon service at all. Unless Vz Wireless counts, of course. So, the moment you are offered it, take it! You will not be sorry. Though, you might wanna give the TV a bit more time to get things down.
