    I wanted to get away from Time Warner, since they could not maintain the TV cable connection to my house.

    I have been very happy with Verizon except for the time I had to upgrade from the old GTE 768K DSL I had--it was a total nightmare in which I was given a lot of false promises. It all turned out okay in the end, but even after having some tech call me with weekly status updates for a year after a call to presidential appeals, I still have two old subaccounts that are free-floating in their system (but still work).
