Last couple of month seems like some one fix the phone wires. I do not get static when it rains any more. Tho, yesterday there was a water main break. I pick up my phone and only hear 1sec of static and it was back to normal. DSL speed now staying 7.1Mb/s download and 860Kb/s upload I think it is because I change my old setup. I am now using 2in1 Netgear DGND3700. Before it was ADSL > RJ45 > Router setup. Never could get this close of speed connection on the old setup. Upload mostly around 200-500Kb/s, and download 3Mb/s to 6.4Mb/s on the old setup.

Last couple of months I get 7600/860 connection.
This week 8/21, I renew my Phone + ADSL bundle 2 year contract. $44.99
Had couple of disconnect
The same DGND3700(I think I use it almost a year now.) now say my connect 5230/860.
Seriously Verizon. What gives.

 | | | DSL i have the same issue signed up for the 4 to 7 mbps plan for the first week and 2 days router said 7101 mbps down 860 up and was able to run 3 pc off of connection now it says 6204 down and 860 up and can not run more then 1 pc off of connection without the speed dropping below 3.2 mbps and they can not explain it nor will they fix it | |

1 edit | Lifetime NYC is slated to be FiOS completed by 2014, so unless your building tells Verizon to beat it, youll be getting it within your lifetime. If you want it sooner, make sure you fill out the "notify me when its available" after you check your address. Verizonfios.com . Id say they keep track of the interested people to wire the most profitable buildings first. | |
