2/12/06:BS doesn't care much about customer complaints, what they care about most is to charge you as much as possible in the name of capitalism and pleasing their share holders more then the consumer. Here we are talking about DSL that is as old as dialup by now and still charging an arm or leg for it is ridiculous. SBC/AT&T is giving the customer a price break all the time from 34.99-44.99 to now 12.99-17.99. The speed you get for 24.99 from BS is just pathetic, 256/128.
With SBC 17.99 gets you 3.0/512 which is almost as good as extreme 6.0 with less download speed. BS is not competing and does not like competition. Their monopoly stinks and we the consumer will be paying dearly for many more years to come. They should drop the silly lite tier 256/128 marketed for fools and make 1.5/256 as their lowest tier..
They should be as follow:
1.5/256 - 14.99 Slow
3.0/384 - 24.99 Moderate
6.0/612 - 34.99 Fast
Because most are on budget we would appreciate fair pricing practice instead of unsatiable greed that see the customer as sucker.
12/16/05:i upgrade to extreme 6.0 and getting really good speed only on the download side thought it's a little pricey i wish it was cheaper. to think that dsl 8.0/1.0 is a bit outdated it should be much cheaper and faster these days. oh well you can't have them all, money seems to run most of the show still to these day, restricting our bandwidth cap depending how much you can pay. another negative is that the upload are soso, its alirght but not great, I was hoping 800 to 900kbps.
9/22/04: bs just doesn't get better, it just get worse for me that is 
3/5/04:Today is the day I will revolt against bs(bullshit) for not upping our speed to at least 3000-4000k/384-512k to compete with cables.. oh well, at least I'd try!
2/4/04:its too bad that bs has decided not to follow suit. 1472/256 forever!
oh well, we'll just have to see within 2-3months from now if they do then I may up their rating by then. It maybe too early to say but u know fastaccess IMHO is really slow access lol, when you see that cable have 3mbit/384ks, its nearly 3 times faster for the same price we're paying for. so unfair!
sorry about my previous message, i haven't a clue what i was trying to say either.
But you know we all have some communication probems. some just needs to speak better english, including me that is. I am taking Japanese and trying to forget that my grammar is only second to none
