    DSL became an option where I am a few months back and I discovered it could be ordered for $10/m for 768/128kbps speeds. I then decided to save some money and ordered it online. The ordering process was easy and I opted for the self-install option. Also ordered 2wire 2700hg-b modem/router combo from another site to avoid having to deal with the rebate process and other than a slight problem figuring out how to change the activation key code for the 2wire(so that it would work for BellSouth), the rest of the set-up was a breeze. The connection so far has been stable, hopefully it will continue to be.

    Update:

    It is still only $10/m and has been infinitely more reliable than the other Cable ISP I had previously. I have had a couple of times when the service went down but the interruption only lasted a few hours and was resolved without me having to make a tech support call.
