    I went back to Bellsouth after having Speakeasy for about 3 years. I liked Speakeasy but the price was way too high. The setup was very fast. I called on a Monday morning, they had the new phone line in by Wednesday and DSL was up and running by Friday morning. I have had very reliable service except when I tried upgrading to the 6 Meg service. When I did I would lose sync when it rained and my speeds were lower than the should have been. Went through tech support but they had to send a tech out to check the line. I was too far for the 6 Meg service so had to go back to the 3 Meg service which works well and has no problems. My overall impression is that service has improved considerably since I had them before.

    This is an update a few months down the road from the above. Still very happy with the service and was able to get "a dry line" without having to have a regular telephone line. This was good for me as I use a voip service. Still a bit dissapointed about not being able to get 6 meg, but thats life. The tech told me that when they get the Universe boxes installed I would be able to get faster service. Over all a positive experience for me.

    Update, I am dropping Bellsouth DSL as it has become very unstable lately. I kept losing synch and as I have Voip I lost my phone service. I have Comcast cable now and it is much faster and I have had no loss of service so far. I will review Comcast when I have had them for a while and have had more experience with their service.
