I have a business which relies on communications. I host my own e-mail and website and require a very reliable (and fast) connection. I also use VoIP for my voice communications. I ordered the fastest speed available for business users. I am using a "toneless" or DSL only connection so the monthly fee is about $10 more than being bundled with voice products. Voice products start at about $60 per month per line. I have 3 lines (2 voice and 1 fax) with VoIP for the same amount.
I used the self install package and it went fine. I currently bridge my connection directly to my server in order to use DNS routing for my e-mail. A Netopia DSL modem was provided with the package. I originally purchased this 3 years ago through Bellsouth. However, with the change over to AT&T, I've noticed DSL line quality go down and their customer service is very lacking.

| that's weird I don't have a business connection, but i have a residential phone and dsl connection through bellsouth. I've never had any problems w/their customer service and I haven't seen any line degredation. Also, I think my DSL has gone down twice in a year, which total was around ~ 10mins. | |
