I have been very pleased with Bellsouth FastAccess DSL until a few weeks ago. Originally signed up for 1.5Mbps to save money over Charter 3Mbps and because Charter had begun performing infrastructure upgrades which interrupted Internet service. Problem with that was that they never told me and my service was unreliable for a month.
So I switched to BellSouth (now AT&T) and never experienced a service interruption until October of this year. Crews were working on lines in my neighborhood and my phone service was out for 4 days. I placed mutliple calls to the support line as I had work to do that weekend which I could have done from the house if I had service.
Eventually, service was restored, but AT&T only wanted to credit the interruption in phone service and not internet. Multiple messages were required to finally convince them to not only credit me for internet service, but also provide a customer service credit. They finally agreed to a month's internet service for free.
Service has been reliable since this issue.
